Can anybody point me to a programme for MSDOS which allows you to write musical scores, and obtain a good quality print out? Rob

My observations, and recommendations of folks I know, is that Jim Miller's "Personal Composer" (NOT to be confused with Mark-of-the-Unicorn's "Professional Composer" for the Mac) is the most comprehensive package around. It combines a sequencer with a notation program, and the printed output is actually useable, rather than the amateurish stuff I've seen from some others. I've heard rustlings that Passport has a new notation program, but I haven't seen it. Check out KEYBOARD magazine, and Music Technology, for more insight on such matters. marc =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= = Marc Johnson BITNET: rna!marc@rockvax.bitnet = = Rockefeller Univ.
