Actually, this is a reply to the previous post on this subject. Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong, but the term "hacker" was actually conned by the original group of students at MIT who where the first to be exposed to computers. They used to "hack" as they called it, programs out. They also were known to sneak around campus at night, and hack open every locked door and safe because they thought all information should be available to all people.
