Well, I was surprised to find so many responses in such a short
time when I logged back on today. Due to the multitude of requests for
a copy of this list, I am not going to be able to reply to each person who
sent me information or asked for a copy to be mailed to them. Also, I
will take this time to thank everyone who took the time to send me their
favorite FTP sites. hubcap and grape seemed to be favorites however.
Also, I would like to thank Edward Vielmetti. Several people sent me
copies of his extensive list (on which my original one was based.) in
various states of completion. I basically ended up taking his list and
adding all the other sites to it. I also changed it around a bit and
added all the IP addresses I could find. If anyone knows any addresses
that are not listed here please mail them to me.
I would like to go through and do a more precise listing of what is
available at the various locations but I will not have the time for that for
quite a while since finals are coming up here at UCSC. Anyway, enjoy it
and thanks again to all who helped.
