I have an IBM PS-2 model 80 with a 40 Mbyte hard drive partitioned into a C and D drive. The C drive has a cluster size of 2048 bytes, and the D drive has a cluster size of 4096. My question is: how do you reformat the D drive for a cluster size of 2048? I tried reformatting with DOS 3.3, PCTOOLS, and MACE but none seem to work. I would rather not have to FDISK the entire disk in order to do this. (Since this was someone else's PC, I don't know how they were able to get a cluster size of 4096.) Any help would certainly be appreciated. Mario Dona ...!{ !decwrl!qubix, ames!oliveb!tymix, pyramid}!wjvax!mario The above opinions are mine alone and not, in any way, those of WJ.
