[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] DDIR.COM directory filter and DOS 4.00

abcscagz@csuna.csun.edu (Jeff Boeing) (05/23/89)

A while back (before c.b.i.p was moderated) someone posted a REALLY nice
800-byte-long utility called DDIR, which worked exactly like DIR except that
it organized the output into two columns. Unfortunately, it relied on the
DOS 2.x and 3.x placement of the "Volume in drive X" and "Directory of"
messages, which have been moved one space to the right in DOS 4.00.
Does some netter out there have the source code to DDIR? Or ever better,
has some net.person actually rewritten DDIR for DOS 4.x compatibility? (I
do not have FTP access.)

Thanks,
