[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] emacs 3.10 too big for memory??

kevin@neptune.AMD.COM (Kevin Tomasek) (06/09/89)

Hello pc users,

This may be a stupid question but I don't have the answer.

I have finally got the uemacs 3.10 xfered to the pc and tried to use it.
Changed the file name to ue310ibm.exe and tried to execute it...
subsequent message -- too big for memory --

Is there something wrong with the code?? Is there something else I have
to do after the uudecode??

I don't have the brik code to check for correctness.

The machine is a AT clone with 1MB of memory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks kevin t

I think I see a problem here... what was the original filename? I
didn't have to change the name, it was already something reasonable (I'm
not on a DOS machine now so I can't check).
