Does any one have or know where i can find a norton like utilities
program that will run on a compaq 386 machine at compatable....
i need to do a speed disk of my hard disk to fix up the space
but the compaq doesn't let norton utilities run this program...
i get an error that says my computer is not compatable with the
struvcture of norton utilities....
any help would be appreciated.....

I believe you will find that the latest version of Norton's Advanced
utilities will work with Compaq's DOS 3.31 with large partitions.
(not to mention DOS 4.0 and 4.01).

oops, I forgot to mention, the latest version of Norton's utilites is
4.5 and should have at least a Feb. '89 date.

we are getting norton utilities 4.5 or the lastest version to solve our
problem.....
