I have a call to a program from with a dBase program for something called
YN. I found it but I have no idea what it is or does it only return unreadible characters (smiley faces ,hearts,ect.) the program is YN.EXE has anyone ever heard of it ???

Well, if memory serves, YN.EXE is distributed with dBase, and simply asks for a
yes or no response, and then returns the response as it's exit code.  I am not
sure if the exit is a binary 0/1 or a 1/2 or a 'y'/'n', but experimentation (or
reading A-T's _terrible_ manuals!) should be able to resolve the answer.
