There was a Jewel (not Crystal) Kryptonite, formed from the remnants of Krypton's Jewel Mountains. It didn't really have an effect, but could serve as a focusing device for psychic energy (such as from the Phantom Zone nasties.) Split Second: Each question had three possible answers (such as "Name three forms of Kryptonite" or "For what films did these actors [the board would read: Red Buttons, Julie Christie, Marlon Brando] win Oscars for acting?" The contestants could answer any of the three questions he wished, but had to beat out the others with his buzzer. The first question answered correctly got the most points, the next got less, and the third, the least. In the Countdown Round, a contestant could answer as many of the three questions he wanted. The questions were really hard too, or maybe it just seemed that way because everything went so fast. There was no "Iron Man" in the Impossibles. There were Multi-man, Coil-man (who bounced on a built-in spring), and Fluid-man, who could become liquid.
