Remember Nanny and the Professor? It was on ABC back in `70-`71, when they had a bunch of "family" shows on, like The Brady Bunch and Partridge Family. Do you remember- 1. Who played Nanny, and what was her given birth name (They said it in the opening theme song) 2. Who played the Professor 3. Who the 3 kids were, and who played THEM (Naming these young actors and actress might be tough) Tom O`Connor ixlpc!tomoc

1. Nanny (a.k.a. Phoebe Figalilly, indeed "a silly name" as the them song proclaims) was played by Juliet Mills. 2. Richard Long (who's been seen at least twice on "Twilight Zone") played the professor. 3. I'm stumped. I know there were three kids, whose names and picture appeared in a tic-tac-toe grid in the opening credits, but I can't recall their names. --Bernie Roehl ...decvax!watmath!watarts!bernie

Kim Richards, who played McLean Stevenson's daughter on "Hello Larry", also played the little girl in "Escape to Witch Mountain" and its sequel "Return from Witch Mountain". Both of these are Walt Disney Productions.

For those of you who don't remember your bad sitcoms . . . Nanny's given name was "Feebe Figalilly" (forgive spelling) She was played by Juliet Mills (Halley's younger sister) The Professor was played by Richard Long (from "Big Valley" fame) I don't remember who played the oldest kid, Hal. Butch was played by Trent Lehman. The daughter (whose name I can't remember) was played by Kim Richards. I used to watch "Nanny" right before "The Partridge Family" on ABC, Friday nights, when I was in elementary school. Can anyone else fill in the info I left out? RH Positive sdcsvax!sdccsu3!po191ak
