[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Omega problem

rogers@falcon.SRC.Honeywell.COM (Brynn Rogers) (07/27/89)

I tried to play omega last night and It hung my system (every time.)

It makes it through the intro and all the player stat type questions,
but after it gets the bottom and side status lines written it goes away.

I had an earlier version of omega running on my PC okay, but this one just
stops.

Any one else have this problem? (10mhz DTK AT clone running msdos 3.3)

I had this problem, when I was trying to run with available memory
in the low 500 K. I increased my available memory, and now it works.

You've solved my problem. I normally run with about 50k of
device drivers and 50k of TSR's. This leaves me with 540-odd K of
RAM.
