[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Is there an IBM-PC HARDWARE SIMULATOR?

Is there such a thing as a program which will take programs
written for the IBM-PC and run them on a UNIX-based Vax or
Sun (etc.) workstation?

Many thanks,

Yes (at least for the Sun). For our (HP) machines it is called SoftPC.
It was developed (for both Sun and HP) by a Third Party. Don't know/
remember which one.
We support it for our own systems. I'm sure a fine company like Sun
will do the same :-).
