[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Is CBIP Dead?

braun@deming.dec.com (08/22/89)

Hi Folks

Please forgive my profligate use of net resources - but -
is CBIP dead, temporarily inactive or is my server dead.

I know that Raul was going to be among the missing until 11 AUG
but I haven't seen anything here since article v04i123: wildunix
dated 27 July 89 21:55:06 GMT. and it seems unusual for Raul to be so
silent.

Thanks

The comp.binaries.ibm.pc newsgroup is not dead. Rahul is moving to a
new job. His .signature said his new address should be active around
August 28th. Please be patient. He hasn't forgotten us.

Comp.binaries.ibm.pc will be alive soon. I've almost completed my
move. I am also going to set up a server for getting
comp.binaries.ibm.pc archives by anonymous UUCP and, possibly, by
logging in a using kermit or zmodem.

Meanwhile, the new mailing address for everything for me or for
comp.binaries.ibm.pc is:

     UUCP: oliveb!cirrusl!dhesi
     Domain: dhesi%cirrusl@oliveb.ATC.olivetti.com

Anything sent to the old addresses at bsu-cs.bsu.edu will still be
forwarded for a while.
