.DS L RE: Liszt, The Lone Ranger and Rossini Almost everyone who has listened to the radio and TV broadcasts of 'The Lone Ranger' knows that the program's major theme was taken from Rossini's 'William Tell Overture.' A more obscure observation I have made and wish to verify is that many of the programs also contained music taken from the last dozen or so measures of Franz Liszt's 'Le Prelude'. Can anyone support my memory on this? MEL ihuxp! tfilm .DE
