[--forwarded message--] From: Bob Babcock <PEPRBV@CFAAMP.HARVARD.EDU> I have uploaded version 9.3 of FRACTINT to the SIMTEL20 archives. FRACTINT displays Mandelbrot and Julia set images on a multitude of different types video adapters. It uses integer arithmetic, so it is fast but cannot do the extreme zooms some other programs are capable of. An 80x87 chip is not required. On a '386, 32 bit arithmetic is used for an additional speedup. The program is public domain, and is a cooperative effort of several authors. Source code is available. (I don't have it, but source for version 8.0 is already in the archives.) <msdos.graphics> FRAINT93.ARC Mandelbrot, Julia set fractals w/32-bit math --- Thanks, Bob! --Keith
