I have a no name 10 Mhz xt class machine: 640K, 2Meg EMS, 30 Meg disk, EGA. It's been a reliable system and I've been happy with it, but I've been bitten by a speed bug; I want to upgrade to at speeds. The question is: accelerator or one of the baby-AT mother boards? There are no current plans to upgrade the peripherals. I'm familiar with the 12Mhz Everex accelerator, but I'm told they are no longer in production. Anyone have information on Tallgrass's 12.5 Mhz ShortCut accelerator? I'm leaning in this direction because it's such an easy upgrade. Any comments will be appreciated. Carl Petito
