I am about to submit a "BIOS-only" version of STEVIE V3.69, the portable VI subset which was posted not long ago to comp.binaries.ibm.pc. The DOS version in the original posting required nansi.sys or nnansi.sys. This is not a bad thing, but the license provisions for nansi/nnansi preclude commercial use which could be a problem. There may be other reasons to want a version which depends only on the ROM BIOS - mine was that I wanted to make it work on the TI Pro where nansi/nnansi would be of no use whatsoever. regards, Larry -- Signed: Larry A. Maybe it never arrived at this site (or maybe it hasn't arrived yet?). Last I knew, it was posted to comp.sources.misc on 20 Aug 1989. That's where/when I got it. Larry -- Signed: Larry A.
