I am about to submit a "BIOS-only" version of STEVIE V3.69, the portable
VI subset which was posted not long ago to comp.binaries.ibm.pc. The DOS
version in the original posting required nansi.sys or nnansi.sys. This
is not a bad thing, but the license provisions for nansi/nnansi preclude
commercial use which could be a problem. There may be other reasons to
want a version which depends only on the ROM BIOS - mine was that I
wanted to make it work on the TI Pro where nansi/nnansi would be of no
use whatsoever.

My wife is an English teacher and she will be very disappointed in me.
I meant that I would be submitting my "BIOS-only" version of STEVIE to
comp.binaries.ibm.pc not that STEVIE was recently posted to that group.

No!... No!... Not... the RED PENCIL! Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhh!

But... it *was* submitted not long ago to cbip. Unless you're getting
picky about how long "not long ago" is.

I'm not particularly punctilious in such matters, but now... Since I've
not seen it there, I assumed it was never there. Maybe it never arrived
at this site (or maybe it hasn't arrived yet?).

Last I knew, it was posted to comp.sources.misc on 20 Aug 1989. That's
where/when I got it.
