Karl / MCI ID: 177-1813 Subject: MCI Mail newsletter # 02 1ST CLASS MAIL ============== In its November 14th issue PC Magazine published a communications program titled "1stClass", which facilitates the use of MCI Mail. 1stClass uses MCI Mail Link, MCI Mail's proprietary protocol, and will allow PC users to send and receive any MCI Mail message, as well as exchange binary files (programs, spreadsheets, etc.) transparently with other MCI Mail subscribers who use 1STCLASS, Lotus Express, or Desktop Express. The program allows message exchange only with MCI Mail. 1stClass will be distributed free (except for time charges) to anyone who requests it, through the magazine's on-line database, PC MagNet. Readers who download the program will be able to exchange messages and files with users of Lotus Express, Desktop Express, and many of the office automation gateways marketed for use with MCI Mail. If you'd like a copy and don't subscribe to PC MagNet (or Compuserve, on which PC MagNet resides), we'll be glad to send you a copy for a nominal $5 handling charge. Just send a check to: Krislyn Computer Services P.O. Box 260 Randolph, MA 02368 and we'll get a 5 1/4" 360KB disk out to you.

Why not just uuencode it and ship it off to Rahul Dhesi, the comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d moderator, for posting? It'd save a lot of people the $5. Isn't there a rule of sorts about use of the net for commercial purposes?
