[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] TSR's and DOS 4.0 and 386's

Does any one know about compatibility of standard TSR (like PCED for instance)
between and 286 running 3.2 and a 386 running 4.0?  Also what are the
advantages of using 4.0 outside of the size of the hard disk it handles.
