The binaries are ok, but after they have been received there are two things you still have to get right. First you must combine and uudecode the postings. An automatic combine* utility for doing this on a Unix system has been posted here several times. (Perhaps someone who has the source, should post it once again?) Second, you have to transfer the ensuing file to your PC. Here much errors are made. The most common is failing to set the transfer binary at both ends of the transfer, and the failing to set the parity the same at both ends. (This is, of course, somewhat dependent on the transfer protocol, but very true for Kermit.) ...................................................................
