[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Life software for the IBM PC

I am looking for software for this IBM PC that runs John Conway's game of
Life. I currently have version 0.50 of TurboLife. Is there any better or
faster software out there? TurboLife has great rule editing, speed, and file
options, but I'd like more versatility in rule definition (ie orthogonal
only, perhaps ages of cells) and the ability to perform actions over specific
regions. Also, I'd like to be able to wrap the screen around the edges on
all four edges, or only two at a time. I'd like to be able to producre more
than one random cell per generation. I realize that all of this is not
likely to be found in on program, but I'd like to see what else is available.
Thanks in advance, respond by mail and I'll post a summary.
