There is a phrase that has been running through my head for days and I can't figure out whence in my past I have dredged it up. Somebody or other used to register astonishment by exclaiming, "That's the most unheard-of thing I ever heard of!" Can anyone remind me of where that comes from? It might be from TV or a movie or a book or even my crazy great uncle Seymour (in which case you probably can't help me).
