Several readers have sent email to me to ask that I enter my name as a
candidate for moderator of comp.binaries.ibm.pc. I appreciate your
support but I must decline because my duties at SIMTEL20 require full
time attention. We average about 200 new files per month, which I
must catalog and announce to Internet users. In addition to that, I
maintain eight mailing lists.
I hope that whoever you consider has FTP access to the Internet.
Because of the demands of my job I do not have time to uuencode files
to send to the moderator. I will do everything I can to support
cbibmpc by making sure your new moderator is aware of what we have
available at SIMTEL20 and also what the latest versions are so no more
out-dated programs are posted.
