MS-DOS 3.x and lower have this limit. Users DO have to set up logical
drives to use the full capacity of their hard drive. This has been
"fixed" in DOS 4.x. The capacity limit under DOS 4.x is something in the
gigabytes.
I understand that you CAN set up partitions for both Xenix and MS-DOS
on your hard drive. I'm not quite sure about the details. It
has something to do with vp/ix (from Xenix). I don't know how you
would boot the Xenix partition if DOS was your primary partition.

As far as fdisk is concerned, I would set up DOS partitions from DOS's
fdisk and Xenix's partition from Xenix's fdisk.

Don't take all this as gospel. I'm not too sure about all of it.
