[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] 4dos not allowing the '/' as a path separater

mdlawler@bsu-cs.bsu.edu (Michael D. Lawler) (02/08/90)

I'd like for 4dos to allow the '/' as well as the '\' as a path
separater. J.P. Software is going to release 4dos 3.00 in a week or
so and I have reason to believe that if enough people call them and
say that they'd like to be able to use '/' as a path separater that they
would fix this. If you would like this change to be made in 4dos
call Tom at (617)-646-3975 and tell him that you'd like to be able to
use the '/' as a path separater. I got the impression from him that
if enough people requested this that they would change 4dos. I hope
enough people call and that the change is made. It would make 4dos
that much more enjoyable for,at least in my opinion, people to use.

Why not mail a letter to:

	 "73577.243@compuserve.com" or to
	 "trawson@dcibix.das.net".

I have never tested mail to bix, but it works fine to compuserve.
