I have no reason to contest the other (omitted) points, but the
information in item 1) is badly in error.  (3/4 would not hold,
either.)

Incidentally, Simtel20 currently uses .arc.  Chyde.uwasa.fi uses
whatever compression method the files had when received with two
exceptions.  I apply .zip in directory /pc/pd2/ and .arc in
directory /pc/ts/ as a rule.  On the average .arc is clearly the
most prevalent method at chyde.uwasa.fi.
