[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] item numbers

I would like some quick feedback on what people want for colume id on
postings; one id per item, used on all parts, or one id per part.

The posting software I got from Rahul *seems* to do one id per file,
regardless of parts, but since it didn't do anything until I beat on it
for a bit, I might have broken it myself.

Since I have invested the time this afternoon to get it working with
one per part, I can go either way. I will wait a day or so for input,
since I don't have any small stuff waiting and don't want to change
twice.

I would expect that archive sites would appreciate one ID per group
with each part containing a (xx/yy) or (Part xx/yy) in the subject. I
don't archive them, so I have not vested interest either way.
