I've got a file on one machine that is so big it has to be split across multiple floppies when compressed. On that machine, this is no problem; just compress and then split it. But when I send it to people, they don't have room to put the compressed file back together before un-compressing it. What I need is a multi-volume de-archiver (archiver would be nice too!) that understands making floppy changes *while de-arching*. Is there such a beast out there? Preferably with source code so I can run it on Unix and DOS? I've looked through the Simtel listings and haven't noticed anything from the short descriptions. Without direct ftp access I'm loathe to request huge numbers of programs in a search. So if anybody knows which program is right, I'd really appreciate it. THANKS!
