Where are some pd or shareware programs that can control the shape and blink/non-blink characteristic of the cursor. I remember a discussion sometime last year in comp.sys.ibm.pc about this, but cannot locate any of the articles. I looked at simtel20 in the sysutl area, but only found one -- unblink1 -- which produces a large non-blinking cursor. Any pointers would be appreciated. The following tsutld13.arc package including a cursor utility is available by anonymous ftp from chyde.uwasa.fi directory /pc/ts. This is a blinking large cursor useful eg for laptops. If you write Turbo Pascal programs yourself, there also are some cursor control routines in tspas18.arc, which can be applied on the blinking cursor. Some time ago a program called blockcur was posted in the binaries. It is available as (/pc/sysutil) blockcur.zip. I do not recall whether it was nonblinking, blinking, or both.
