I recently read a posting here that gave a claim against Everex products in general. I install and use numerous Everex products and I have had very few problems. I have to admit that I have never used any of the disk drive products mentioned but the modems and memory upgrade cards I have used are easily configured with existing equipment and quite compatible with other second/third party hardware. In short, I would say that if you take the advice of avoiding Everex products all together, just be wary of the disk oriented devices. The failure rate of the units I mentioned is very low. Steve J.
