A few weeks ago the archive for 16 bit compress was posted in comp.binaries.ibm. Could someone perhaps send it to me via netsys!ziggy!jsheese!jeffery or killer!jolnet!jsheese!jeffery? Thanks in advance. -- Jeff Sheese - via FidoNet node 1:109/116 UUCP: ...!netsys!ziggy!jsheese!jeffery ARPA: jeffery@jsheese.FIDONET.ORG (Not yet confirmed!)

Could someone please send me a copy of the 16 bit version of COMRPESS for the PC. I have a 12 bit version, but the software I need (MIDI) is compressed with 16 bits. I will take either executible or source (TurboC, QuickBasic). If you don't have this version, but know of an FTP site that does please tell me its address. Thanks Much. Randy Hammond RRH101@PSUVM

A 16 bit version is available for anonymous ftp from husc6.harvard.edu (128.103.1.56) in pub/pcip/compress.{exe,c}. The .exe file was compiled with MSC 4.0 and run through exepack. This compress has not been tested with any other compiler version. Dan Lanciani ddl@harvard.*
