[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] MSKERMIT 3.00 and 2.32/A

kenns@jacobs.cs.orst.edu (Kenn R. Stump) (03/20/90)

I've stored both of these files off in an anonymous FTP directory here at OSU.
If anyone has need for them, here's the info for you.

Machine name : Bismarck.cs.orst.edu
Login type: Anonymous
Directory: pub/incoming
filenames: msker300.zip, msker232.zip

The reason that I have stored both an old and the new version is that
I have had a most disableing problem with version 3.00 and have been forced
to stick with 2.32A. 2.32A has given me no problems whatsoever, and
the only problem I have had with 3.00 is that it locks my machine up
sporadically. My machine is a Generic XT - Compatible (noname)
and has had no compatibility problems with software in the past. I've talked
with Joe R. Doupnik (thanks Joe for the time spent on 3.00 and previous ver's)
about it via Email, and there's no answer for my problem. It could be one
of a few TSR's that I use that conflicts or DOS <not beyond possibility, right?>
or the wrong phase of the moon. I dunno. 2.32A has been my one and only so far
and has done me no wrong. I only put it up for grabbing because there might
be others who have the same problem and I wish them a similar cure.
Got get 'em guys. If you want to . . .
Enjoy and Good luck.
<Patiently awaiting the maintenance release of MSKERMIT>
