I had this group turned off for a while and just saw this thread.
I have sources to both "mainframe" ZORK (in Fortran) and an extended
version of ADVENTURE (in C), as well as a source listing of the original
ADVENTURE (FORTRAN, and I mean original -- it came direct from the author's
thesis at Stanford).

The fellow who complained about ZORK not running on an XT probably was using
a copy I supplied in some way -- I noticed my makefile specified "-G2" meaning
generate >=80186 specific code.

I really don't want to be bothered sending these things in chunks to gobs
of people, but I will supply sources and/or executables (yes, and for 8088s!)
to anyone who sends me a stamped self-addressed mailer with a 1.2 Meg (or
1.44 Meg) formatted floppy. I reply typically within 24 hours of receipt
since you've done all the work.

And, NO, I won't submit this to comp.binaries.ibm.pc,
IMHO there are too many games showing up there already.
