Our mailer broke recently so I don't know if this message got out last time. Can anyone out there think of a longer palindrome than: T. Eliot, top bard, notes putrid tang emanating, is sad. I'd assign it a name, gnat dirt upset on drab pot toilet. -larry kolodney

The Guiness Book of Records refers to an entire story that is a palindrome. It begins "Deliver no evil, avid diva" and ends "avid diva, live on reviled." Dave ("Able was I ere I saw Elba") Sherman Otnorot

How about it, does somebody want to write a program that will make palindrome sentences? It's probably a hairy task, though. --Randy rh@mit-eddie
