I have noticed problems in MS-Kermit's VT320 emulation. "esc[4h" should put the terminal in insert mode, but it only seems to work on the first line. Likewise, "esc[@" should insert a single character, but doesn't. This means that editors like gnuemacs must redraw all characters to right of each new character. - Carl

on 2.29 and 3.01 both leave my screen dirty when scrolling. As far as I can tell the "clear to end of line" doesn't.
