I have uploaded a revised FRACTINT version 13r to SIMTEL20. FRAINT13.ZIP has been replaced with this file. <msdos.graphics> FRAIN13R.ZIP fractal generator - supervga, 3D (recompiled) FRACTINT is a full-featured, extremely fast, 2D and 3D fractal generator with extensive graphics adapter support. Version 13 adds: - Boundary tracing - Faster "super solid guessing" - Henon, Rossler, Pickover, and Diffusion fractal types As implemented in FRACTINT, "super solid guessing" is almost always faster than boundary tracing, but boundary tracing is sure more fun to watch! NOTE: version 13.0r is just version 13.0 re-compiled under Microsoft C version 5.1 (13.0 was compiled under MSC 6.0). When compiled under MSC 6.0, the 'type=formula' code is partially broken (selecting the 'tetrate' formula, for example, hangs your PC). There is no corresponding 13.0r source-code release, because the source code hasn't changed.

If you have found a bug in Microsoft C, report it to Microsoft!!! They have a finder's policy such that the first person to find and report a bug gets a free update to the next version of the compiler. It works too - my 6.0 upgrade was free due to a code generator bug I found in 5.1
