I have an AT&T 6300 WGS, and the real-time clock is not behaving. Apparently, one bit will occasionally reset, causing 11:00pm (i.e. 2300 hours) to be reset to 11:00am (i.e. 1100 hours). This will happen a couple of times a day, so that I have to be continually reseting the clock, otherwise I start losing days. My questions are: 1) could this be caused by a failing battery? and 2) if not, what could be the problem, and is there a cheap/easy way to check? BTW, the machine is only 2 years old, so the battery shouldn't be failing yet, but you never know. Please e-mail or post, whichever you think fit. Thanks. -- David M.
