Has anybody gotten ToZip 5.01 to work recursively, as the documentations suggest should be possible ? I've tried setting environment variable ZIPDEPTH to 1, as suggested in the documentation. I've tried not setting it. I've tried giving the parameter ZIPDEPTH=1 as a command line option (because the documentation that came along with it was so bad, one couldn't be sure what they meant)... nothing seems to work. I'm not too hot about Tom Atkinson's software anyway, er, it's simply not elegant. It changes the screen colors (why would a command line driven program want to do that ?) and it produces lotsa unecessary messages. What I need is a simple program to automatically and recursively convert .arc and other formats to .zip, but I *don't* want to do it with a mouse- driven window video game ! Suggestions, anyone ? -- * * * Otto J. Try REARC. I think I found it in Comp.binaries.sources.ibmpc. I'm not really sure. I used to use it when I downloaded things.
