[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Help for deieps/dvipan

Hi, 
	Could someone please give me some help on the usage
of dvieps/ dvipan program in SIMTEL, TeX directory? It assumes
to use the environment FONTDIR, but I can never make it right.
I have a directory of PK files which contains a set of different 
subdirecories for different values of dots per inch.
