The concept of a shareware remote program is nice, so I tried this one out between an adjacent 386 and a 8086 laptop. That is, I tried a direct connection. To make sure that I had my cables right I first tried it out with a Procomm Plus host connection, which worked perfectly ok. But no such luck with TeleReplica tr1-2, and after an hour of trying I gave up. I am not saying that tr1-2 won't work, but if one doesn't get anywhere with a new program within one hour, I consider it useless (irrespective whether it is a case of RTFM or not). ...................................................................
