All McAfee Associates programs were obtained from their BBS.

NETSCN66.ZIP Network compatible - scan for 133 viruses, v66
SCANV66.ZIP VirusScan, scans disk files for 134 viruses
VCOPY66.ZIP Copy utility checks for viruses as it copies
VSHLD66.ZIP Resident virus infection prevention program
VSUM9008.ZIP Pat Hoffman's virus info summary list, 900810
VTAC46.ZIP Protects disk against alteration or formatting
Updating your copy of the McAfee programs is particularly important in
light of the widespread outbreak of the Joshi virus which is said to
be spreading more rapidly than any previous virus that has been
tracked by the CVIA. SCANV66 will detect this virus and CLEANP66 will
remove it.
If you are unable to access SIMTEL20 via Internet FTP or through one
of the BITNET/EARN file servers, most SIMTEL20 MSDOS files, including
the entire PC-Blue collection, are available for downloading on the
Detroit Download Central network at 313-885-3956. DDC has multiple
lines which support 300, 1200, 2400, and 9600 bps (HST/V.32/V.42/V.42bis).
This is a subscription system with an average hourly cost of 17 cents.
It is also accessable on Telenet via PC Pursuit and on Tymnet via
StarLink outdial. New files uploaded to SIMTEL20 are usually
available on DDC within 24 hours.
