Johnny Quest , ah yes that was a good show. But you have your characters mixed up. Johnny (the future young scientist) was blond and blue eyed while his companion Haji(?) was an orphan from India. The rest of the cast were Dr. Quest (Johnny's father) ; Race Banner (bodyguard (assigned by the State Dept. after Dr. Quest's wife was killed) , family friend and tutor to Johnny and Haji) ; and the irrepressible Bandit (the dog). Believe it or not, this show was playing in the Boston area until a year ago on TWO stations. As for Space Ghost, Hanna Babara had made an 'updated' version of Space Ghost and the Herculoids. They weren't too good. (Here's some trivia, can you name the various force beams that Space Ghost could weild? How about naming his companions?) But the original versions of the Herculoids, Birdman(remember him?) and the Galaxy Trio (another obscure cartoon) ane presently being shown on Sunday mornings on a local Boston station. Spaaaccce Ghooossst's two teen companions were Jan and Jas (je pense). As for that stupid little chimp, its name was something like Gleep. I can't remember SG's beams accurately but I think he had one that repulsed matter and another beam of cold. Incidentally I intended Jas to be pronounced with a long "a". Does anyone remember some episodes when the Ghost got together with the Herculoids and kicked some ass together?
