Since I have gotten a few notes saying "what is RCS for DOS," I will issue this reminder: When I post things in several related parts, such as RCS for DOS executable, executable for MKS, support files, documentation, and source, I assume that people will understand that if one posting is called RCS executable and has a full and clear description of what RCS is and does, then "source for RCS for DOS" and "RCS docs" should be self explanatory. In this particular case because of a problem in the sources sent me, there was a delay of about ten days between the parts, which may have confused a few new readers who missed the earlier parts, and those who don't remember what happened ten days ago or who weren't paying attention. Since I have been getting a few letters a day asking where the source was, I assume that the majority of the readers know exactly what the posting is. I'm sorry for those few who didn't get the earlier parts, or who are new, but I don't think the average reader was confused, and I intend to continue with the practice of describing the posting in the first part. -- bill davidsen (davidsen@crdos1.crd.GE.COM -or- uunet!crdgw1!crdos1!davidsen) VMS is a text-only adventure game.
