[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] DOSRCSs pecularity

davidsen@sixhub.UUCP (Wm E. Davidsen Jr) (09/06/90)

The DOSRCSs posting had three files called makefile in it. I have not
determined how the author managed to generate this archive, but I'm
looking into it.

In the meantime, you can get all three versions by the following
arcane process:

extract everything, answer N to the overwrite question every time

  rename makefile to makefile1

extract makefile, answer the overwrite Y the first time, N the second

  rename makefile makefile2

extract makefile, answer Y to overwrite every time

  rename makefile to makefile3

figure out which one does what and rename or use as needed

Simple, he told zoo not to store directory information (option ':')
and the makefiles were in subdirectories. There should be a man, src,
doc, and msc directories. I chose to also create ksh and sh directories
for the scripts.
