Yes, there is an unzip for Unix---you can get it via anonymous ftp from simtel20.army.mil in pd3:<misc.unix>. Work is continuing on this unzip, and I don't know what version is there. Let me know what you find, and I'll get you a more recent version if appropriate. So far, I know of no real progress towards a Unix zip. Mark Adler madler@piglet.caltech.edu

I must say that I don't know for sure, since there are so many programs at our site. I believe that unzip310 is the latest, but has been packed differently from unzip310. Unzip23u is an older version I have retained since there has been a succession of updates that had one bug or another, and that version was ok. But the only way to make really sure is to take a look at them all. ...................................................................
