Both can be obtained by anonymous ftp from chyde.uwasa.fi directory
/unix/ts.

Yes, there is an unzip for Unix---you can get it via anonymous ftp from
simtel20.army.mil in pd3:<misc.unix>. Work is continuing on this unzip,
and I don't know what version is there. Let me know what you find, and
I'll get you a more recent version if appropriate. So far, I know of no
real progress towards a Unix zip.

thanks, timo. i made the assumption that the unzip30 was the one to
get (not the unzip23u or the unzip310). is this right?

There is an unzip for Unix. You can anonymous FTP it from
PS:<KPETERSEN.ZIP)
on Simtel20. It has not yet filtered over to the normal c.s.u or other
archives/lists yet...

I must say that I don't know for sure, since there are so many
programs at our site. I believe that unzip310 is the latest, but
has been packed differently from unzip310. Unzip23u is an older
version I have retained since there has been a succession of updates
that had one bug or another, and that version was ok. But the only
way to make really sure is to take a look at them all.

3.10 (unzip310.tar.Z or unzip310.arc) is the most recent "stable" version
of unzip for Unix. (The current version in the unzip working group is 3.15.)

unzip310 is the latest at our site. It seems pretty reliable and so
for I deleted the other versions. Sorry for the inconvenience that
these various versions have caused to you.
