[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Help needed using this group

I just discoverred this group and its companion.  I need help extracting and
using the provided binaries.  I am new to using PC's, but have been an Apple
(NOT Mac) user for over 10 years, and have almost two years experience using
UNIX.  Any help would be appreciated.
