Does anyone know if 'tar' exists for MS-DOS? I need to extract some *.tar-z files. Thanks. --Dwaine

Thanks The new version just came in comp.binaries.ibm.pc It is called pax (not tar) that's why this is asked so often. But if you need to extract tar-z then you need also uncompress (or decompress). You can find both kind of programs from (chyde.)uwasa.fi (128.214.12.3). Look into pc/unix dir. -- == Harri Valkama, University of Vaasa, Finland ================================ P.O.
