I am trying to write a lint-like program to check syntax and semantics of Clipper programs, a DBASE clone. I am looking for programs that perform similar functions on other languages so I will have some kind of model. Ideally I would like the source, but a man page that describes in some detail the kinds of checks that are performed would be useful. Is there a public domain copy of lint anywhere? Or of similar programs? I am currently aware of a few such programs on terminator.umich.edu. Also, if anyone knows of books/articles/other newsgroups/whatever that would be useful in such an endeavour, I would appreciate hearing. Thanks!
