There is an excellent VT100 emulator that supports XMODEM that runs in the
background in about 21k of memory called DGTERM. I'm pretty sure it's up on
SIMTEL20, and I've seen it on lots of other sites as well.

I use the program quite a bit on my XT and it works great.

Does anyone have or know of a public domain program that does
downloading in the background? There is one PD called invisible
link, but you need to pay $35 to get the background downloading
feature.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Gary

Ps: Protocols I am looking for are Xmodem and/or kermit.

Gary, I've got a program called DGTERM which the documentation
'blurb' states:

Background VT102 term with X/YModem.

It's available on my bbs (305)-296-4370 or I could attempt
to encode it and mail to you??
