I have posted the following message in response to the criticism the utilities now referred to as OZSHARE have received regarding their registration cost. "Any future upgrades or additions to OZSHARE utilities will have prices based on what I consider is fair and reasonable for the country in which they are intended to be used. If guidelines are forthcomming from c.b.i.p regarding approriate costs for Shareware then I will consider these also." Yes this does mean I will reduce the registration cost for most of the utilities in future releases and offer significant discounts for bulk registrations. Yes this does mean I have been convinced that the current price is excessive for some of the utilities in some countries. I was unaware that it would be but I sure am now! Yes I apologise to the 40 or so people who have already registered but I will not be reducing the current prices as this would be unfair to you seeing that I cannot contact some of you to refund the difference. Please remember that all future upgrades to you are free anyway. Yes I will bundle them together in future (as OZSHARE I suppose) with seperate documentation as well as internal. If you would like documentation now then please email me. Yes I realise that this means that probably nobody will register the OZSHARE utilities currently on c.p.i.b from now on but I will not be changing them for sometime. No I will not include utilities such as LS.EXE for which there are already 100's of others to c.b.i.p in future. Please fell free to trial the programs to your hearts content and when evaluating them take note of the various command line switches and what they do. Do not post any follow up articles to this unless you really must. There has been more than enough space wasted on this issue already. Please email me if you have something to comment on. Owen Baker.
